It's SPRING!

I hope everyone had an amazing March Break!

This week:

Math: 3D Geometry (nets and 3D solids)

Science: Grade 4’s will learn about Rocks and Minerals.

Grade 3’s will learn all about Soil.

Before the break students were working on designing

I'm inside a snow globe
with my snowman friend!

January was all about SNOW!!

We read a story about a family who lived in a snow globe, and students imagined what life would be like if they lived inside a snow globe!

ELL students wrote about what they would do if they were stuck inside a snowglobe.

We have also been reading about and writing about snowmen!

Students imagined what life would be like as a snowman for 

“A Snowman’s Frosty Feelings”.

They also wrote about what they think snowmen do at night while we are asleep. 

Students also created art showing what they think snowmen do at night using chalk pastels.

Today was a Snow Day!

We read Snowman Magic, and drew and wrote all about the story.
