It's March in Ms. Robinson's Classroom!



It’s Spring!

February was a busy, busy month in grade 3!
Students learned about kindness and we read about the life of 
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr and astronaut Dr. Mae Jamieson.


We also went on a field trip to Stanley’s Olde Maple Lane Farm!
It was a (freezing) fun-filled day at the farm with horse-drawn sleigh rides, visiting animals in a barn and delicious taffy in the snow!

Spring is here, but students must continue wear warm clothing to be able to play outside for recess for our unpredictable spring weather. They must have indoor shoes to help keep our classroom clean.

September in Ms. Robinson's Classroom




Grade 3 students have been working hard at school for 2 weeks!
During these 2 weeks we have:
            - read and responded to read alouds in Literacy:



            
- learned about place value and base 10 blocks in
           
- skip counted by 2s, 5s, 10s, and 100s up to 1000 
Math

- started investigating what make a structure strong and stable in Science

- created art work

Please continue to read with your child every night and help them 
practice skip counting!
